Startwise is partnering with the Government of Barbados to deliver a radically transformative job training program that gives 1000s of Bajan youth access to global employment. We need a Director of Operations to shape the program operations and solve emerging bottlenecks and blockers. You'll lead by example for our trainers and their trainees to level up in your image. • Driving projects to completion: Serving as the head of operations for the program, the go-to person for all operations-related escalations, procedures, and policies
• Implementing Program Designs: Balancing program design and business requirements with on-ground realities and constraints
• Optimizing processes: Working closely with the Program Director to create smooth processes that enable hundreds of people to optimize their calendars and brain time
• Tracking performance amp; progress: Setting up and monitoring performance acceleration and progress tracking software
• Leading by example: Creating video demonstrations, hosting workshops, mentoring on business operations best practices
• Troubleshooting problems: Spotting problems before they occur, resolving them as they're occurring, escalating as a last resort but not too late :)
