Startwise Barbados builds local pathways to global jobs. The Startwise Fast Track program caters to the needs of experienced job seekers with more than 5 years of experience in the workforce. This is an intensive program for those who may already be working in a fulltime job, already have professional level skills in their specialization, but want to expand their options and opportunities by seeking remote work with US companies through Startwise.

We are seeking candidates for our Fast Track program launching on March 23, 2024. This program provides candidates with coaching, training, mentorship, connections with global companies who are hiring remotely, and support navigating the hiring process to help you land a great remote job.

As you succeed in this program, you will rapidly develop high-demand skills, earn introductions with global employers, and secure a remote job in a high-growth career field. This is designed to provide you with the support you need to accelerate your access to global employment with a competitive salary without having to leave the island.

As a Startwise Pro, you are responsible for building skills and earning employment with support from Startwise. Responsibilities include:

• Taking charge of your own learning
• Collaborating with remote teammates
• Working with remote work tools and software
• Navigating the interview and hiring processes
• Earning the right job for you
• Applying your existing career skills and experience to a new full time role with a remote company

Requirements

We do not filter for degrees in a specific field. Instead, we look for mindset, skillset, and how quickly you learn. To be eligible for this program, you should meet the following requirements:

• Availability to commit to intensiveskill building and connecting with hiring partners
• Interest in getting a remote job with a US company
• Expertise using a laptop and learning new software
• The capacity to learn quickly when given guidance and feedback
• A proactive and constructive approach to collaborating with others
• You communicate confidently and professionally using both written and spoken english
• You're ready to make a career move to your next full time role
