Job Description

Dentons is currently seeking a Corporate Administrator to join our rapidly growing team, in Barbados. To be effective in this role, you will need to provide exceptional customer service to our clients, display excellent time-management and organizational skills, and attend to the legal needs of the company and staff in a quick and efficient manner. A strong candidate for this role is an amiable and professional individual who is efficient, organized and detail oriented.

The incumbent’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Assist with the establishment and maintenance of corporate entities managed and maintained by Delany Corporate Services Ltd.
  • Attended regulatory and compliance matters on behalf of the firm.
  • Perform accurate corporate, land and court searches and analysis
  • Maintenance of the firm’s corporate portfolio.
  • Draft corporate and legal documents and reports.
  • Deal with day-to-day correspondence and administrative matters relating to the entities managed and maintained by Delany Corporate Services.
  • Liaise with third parties, including auditors, attorneys, investment bankers and onshore trustees.
  • Perform administrative duties and other general duties as required.
  • Perform compliance and know your client checks.


The ideal candidate should be a Community College graduate or have an Associate Degree in Legal Studies or related field required and at least five (5) years’ experience as a paralegal or corporate administrative.

  • Familiarity with legal documents and terminology
  • Competency in using CAIPO and IBU online portals
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Corporate Services background preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a large number of concurrent requests of a time sensitive nature.
  • Has a can do attitude and good work ethic.
  • Great attention to detail and excellent sense of organization.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain potentially complex clauses in a simple manner.
  • Not required, but a plus is Fluent in Spanish speaking.
  • Commercial and contracts legal training is considered an asset
  • Experience working with international Clients.
